Strong partnerships build safer Inner City communities

It is that time of the year again when we, as a society, pause to take stock on how we are treating those among us who are vulnerable to abuse.

The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children is a global campaign that calls on us to take a stand against these abuses.

This is a fight worth fighting and one that Redcon fully endorses.

We have put words into action by signing on as a member of the Johannesburg Inner City Partnership. This initiative brings together the city authorities, civil society and business to help improve life for all in the Inner City.

The Johannesburg Inner City Partnership (JICP) aims to foster collaboration between all spheres of government and society. It runs numerous projects ranging from safety and community development to urban agriculture and entrepreneurship.

We are working with the JICP to identify where we can get involved to make a positive contribution to the precincts and immediate vicinity of your building.

We will keep you informed of initiatives that impact your safety, well-being and quality of life as a resident of the vibrant Inner City.

By being actively involved in initiatives that improve the city, you will benefit from a cleaner and safer environment.
